SunKiss Privacy Policy

SunKiss is a wellness app for sun guidance. We use only the information needed to personalize UV guidance, safe-time estimates, reminders, and session history.

Information We Use

• Approximate location, when you allow it, to fetch local UV and weather data.
• Optional camera access during onboarding if you choose the skin scan flow.
• Your profile choices, including skin type, SPF preference, burn sensitivity, and tanning goal.
• Sun session history, reminder settings, and anonymous app identifiers.
• Subscription status from Apple In-App Purchase.

How We Use Information

We use this information to calculate safer sun guidance, show weather-based warnings, save your profile, and keep paid features unlocked.

Optional Skin Photo And Face Data

The optional camera photo may include your face or skin. SunKiss uses it once on device to help estimate your skin type for sun guidance. We do not upload, store, sell, or share the photo. We do not collect face geometry, face templates, facial recognition data, or biometric identifiers. The photo is discarded after the scan step. Only your chosen or estimated skin type may be saved in your SunKiss profile.

Storage And Sharing

Profile and session data may be stored with Supabase. Weather requests are sent through our backend so API keys stay private. We do not sell personal information.

Your Choices

You can deny location, camera, and notifications. The app will still work with limited or fallback guidance. You can manage subscriptions in App Store settings.
